Spread the love

Gadgets has become one of the  essential thing you must bring while traveling. And for me, these few listed below are my must have/bring especially when I’m traveling solo.

My Camera

Actually, I had a few ~ Canon DSLR, etc but of late, I’m totally in-love with my X-A3 Fujifilm cam! Reason?

  1. The LCD screen is highly articulated and can be swivelled for selfies.
  2. The camera is very sleek and compact yet offers an integrated flash that is raised quite high to prevent red-eye-effect. In addition, there’s a hot shoe for adding an auxiliary flash or other extras.

….. And super light! ( I’m tired of carrying my DSLR Canon Camera). And it’s super cute  too—-> feminine look.

Here… my X-A3 fuji has been everywhere.

My light weight tripod

This is huge! Having a tripod is an answer to get a pictures of myself (full body) without asking someone to take my pic(s)! Especially if you want to frame those beautiful landscape background. Oh yes… you can put your camera on a ledge somewhere and use the self timer, but it’s going to be so hard to properly frame your shot.

My choice?  Joby Gorillapod, which is light and compact (it fits in my purse) and can wrap around a pole tree branch or anywhere you can think of! I get it from amazon.

Why I need remote when I can just put timer on my devices?

It means you can take a bunch of photos of yourself, including action shots, without having to run back to press the shutter on your camera, and you won’t look frazzled from running into your shot. It also means that your lens will focus on you, not something in the background before you’ve run into it the shot.

…….   and it look more cool. Trust me! (People wont stare too much at you)

Selfie Stick

…because I’m  Asian. Hmmm… is it an Asian thingy? Taking selfies everywhere? Well… the fact that we invented it spoke volume…btw, should I upload a picture of it? surely everyone should have seen the “stick” by now.

Selfie-Stick picture

In some cases and places, you can’t use tripod to take a ‘quickie’ picture with you in it! so a selfie stick come handy. Before long, I just used my hand to hold the phone as far as possible but with the stick, Now I can took wider pictures.

Mobile Phone

(Psssst ——–> IPHONE)

OMG…it should be first!

Usually I bring two mobile phone. One for my personal (home) number for emergency (mobile data off) and the other one to put my new sim card ( internet data of the country I visited).

Power Bank

It comes handy when you went outside for the whole day. Nothing is more frustrating than looking at your phone/camera blinking red with only one bar battery left!
